Wednesday’s Word: One of my favorite excerpts from Eat This Book:
Eugene Peterson states, “We may rescue His Word as we read it for ourselves to become living words that provide sustenance to every part of our lives. Reading His Word is an immense gift, but only if we eat, chew, gnaw, and receive in unhurried delight to assimilate and take into the soul. We grow in accordance with the revealed Word implanted in us by His Spirit.” [1]
In order for us to savor His Word in the way that Eugene Peterson describes, I have written Savoring His Word: Five Ingredients to Enrich Scripture Reading. This booklet will release in April, just in time for the FREE 3-part webinar. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
