Day Forty-four – February 13 – Today’s Tasting – Exodus 37-39:31: The furnishings for the tabernacle and the clothing for the priests came to completion as the Lord commanded Moses. The crafters constructed the table in the tabernacle to a specific size, of acacia wood, and overlaid it with gold. Acacia wood was a very durable wood impenetrable by worms or insects. The lamps illuminated the table, continually, which held the bread of the Presence.
Today’s Nourishment: Nourishment from His Table
- From His table, He illuminates the Presence of God to us
- From His table, illuminated by the lamp stand, symbolic of the power of the Holy Spirit, He reveals Jesus and sheds light on the truth of God’s Word
- From His table graced with the bread of His Presence continually, He is our perpetual provision. Jesus said, “I am the bread of life.” His continual Presence offer daily provision.
Lord, we dine at your table and long for your Presence. We ask, Holy Spirit, reveal Jesus and the power of the meaning of your Word to us, from your table. You and your Word provide life daily for us. “If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and him with me,” Revelation 3:20.
What has He revealed from His Table to you?
