Taste and See as you Honor (Hallow) God
“May the world see who you are and your name be kept holy”
“Oh taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).
Taste – ” to experience something.” In this case, experience Jesus as you set five minutes of intentional time. Ask Him to help you experience His goodness and keep His name holy today in your worship of Him.
How may we know the good unless we taste, experience Him?
Taste and See as you Surrender Self
“May the world see who you are and your name be kept holy by the way I live.”
“If indeed you have tasted the Lord, you will put away ungodly behaviors:”
- malice
- deceit
- hypocrisy
- envy
- slander
“And grow up into salvation (peace, wholeness – completion for soul-spirit-body) (See 1 Peter 2:1-3).
In this case, experience Jesus as you set five minutes of intentional time. Ask Him to help you experience His goodness and keep His name holy by the ways you treat others and put away ungodly behaviors. We may put away malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander as we love others with Jesus’ love, which is possible to grow His love as we hold to Jesus and grow His fruit of love and peace.
Taste and See as you Honor Others
I pray we taste of the good you have stored up for us in abundance. We choose to put away ungodly behaviors to live as you designed us to live, by holding to Jesus to grow your love and peace. You are a good God and have good stored up for my family, friends, and co-workers.
Only by you Holy Spirit, we will taste His goodness. You help us live to taste and experience the Lord. We trust you, Holy Spirit, to help us live having Tasted the Lord.
