Today’s Tasting: Ezekiel 28-30
In Ezekiel 28 we see God proclaiming and passing judgment upon the king of Tyre. The king will lose everything because he fabricated and worshiped other gods. He also proclaimed himself as a god. He didn’t live in faith to God alone.
In 29-30, we see the judgment upon Egypt telling her she will become desolate. Her allies will also fall into this judgment from God. After 4o years God will return them to their land. However, they will never dominate over other lands again. God gives the land of Egypt to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. They didn’t live in faith to God alone.
Today’s Nourishment: Do you live in faith to God alone? A powerful lesson runs through these chapters of Ezekiel, to worship God and stand in awe of Him or worship something or someone else.
We were created and called to worship God and God alone, to put Him first in our lives. To understand we are created in His image, we are not little gods out there. The bible is very clear on this and not as a suggestion, but as a commandment from God.
In your life today, what do you place first?
Do you consider yourself a god or like God?
How real is God in your life today?
These questions are serious questions to think about today as time draws closer for the return of Christ. When He returns, will he find you living in faith? We will stand before God one day and be accountable for our choices in life. When God asks what did you do with my Son what will you say? Was your relationship with God a priority in your life or an insurance policy?
Life is so much simpler when we put God first and worship Him. I know for myself, I do not want to be lukewarm and be wondering what will happen on His return. I want to be ready to go, living in faith when He returns for His church!
How do you stand in awe of God and what do you need to change in your life today for Him to find faith when He returns?

Robin I am in awe of God because of His unconditional love and faithfulness. We mess up so many times in life and try to do in our own strength only to find out we can do nothing in and of ourself but only in and through Him. I need to change my mindset and keep my mind stayed on Him where I will find perfect peace His word says in Is 26:3. Thank You Lord for who You are in my life and loving me so much to die for me!
