Today’s Tasting: Ezekiel 46-48
While in Babylon, Ezekiel dealt with punishment issues from Nebuchadnezzar for those who lived their faith openly to the One True God. Yet, God’s silence kept Ezekiel from recording any words of prophecy.
God revealed a powerful vision of the rebuilding and future activity of the Temple of the Lord to Ezekiel. Ezekiel also received promises of a reestablished nation of Israel. He was shown the future Temple, worship in the Temple, which included celebrations, servants, priests, and princes instead of the high priests. He saw the divided surrounding land.
Prince and Feasts: The Prince always entered and exited the same way. However, worshipers entered one gate and exited through a different gate. Exiting in a different way signified how worship changes us.
47: Ezekiel saw how water flowed from the Temple’s threshold and the land was divided in equal portions with a Common land and a Prince’s Land. The gates of the city were described and the vision draws to a conclusion.
Ezekiel 48:35: Yahweh Shamma: “THE LORD IS THERE.” God’s temple is for true worshipers only—those who live holy and obedient with pure hearts.”
Today’s Nourishment: The Lord is there and our worship rises to Him to adore and praise the Only True God. As our worship rises to Him, He changes and rebuilds us as His Temple.
How is worship a major part of your life recognizing “The Lord is There”?
How are you different after you worship the Lord and recognize “The Lord is There”?

I couldn’t imagine worship not being a part of my life. It draws me nearer to Him and His presence brings such joy and satisfaction which only comes from Him. You know He’s there because His presence is strong and it brings a calm to my heart and soul. I long to be in His presence and I realize what it does for me and I come out of it feeling joy and assurance. Thank You Lord I’m free to worship a holy and sovereign God!!!!
