I am a South Carolina girl, “where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter.” Yet, my life with Jesus is sweetest of all.
I realized at a young age, God’s calling was claiming my life for ministry. The path to ministry first emerged as a stay-at-home wife and mom. While ministering to my husband and children, I learned how to study the Bible and fell in love with Jesus, His Living Word, and the high-school girls I taught in Sunday School.
Continuing my studies in God’s Word, I trained as a Bible Study leader through Precept Ministries and Restoration Bible School to host Precept Upon Precept studies by Kay Arthur, along with other leading Bible Studies and authors.
As my children grew, I studied interior design which led me to owning and operating an interior design and decorating business for thirty plus years. Merging my design and Bible study skills, along with my passion to help women of all ages and in all life-stages and circumstances, connect with our heavenly Father through Jesus, I became Carolyn Marlowe Ministries. Carolyn Marlowe Ministries is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) offering Bible Studies, Video-based Courses, spiritual growth resources, Speaking and Teaching Events, GatHERings Events, along with community. Prayer Coaching is coming in 2022. “Praising Him who called us. . .into His wonderful light” (1 Peter 2:9).
As a Certified Christian Life Coach, I work with women who lack focus, words, and consistency in their intimate connection with the Lord. I help them establish a lifestyle of loving the Lord by gaining a greater understanding of God’s Word to believe and pray His promises for today. My unique approach to prayer coaching is more than talking or journaling conversations with the Lord: First, the greatest benefit of prayer is attaching with a loving Father, Papa-God, and remembering His Promises. Then, awakening love with Jesus helps us unite with Him in a loving-union. Atttaching to God and awakening love with Jesus activates conversations with His Spirit to pray and believe His promises. My husband, Kent, and I were high school sweet hearts and are natives of South Carolina. We both serve in our local church fellowship, Hope Church. Our lives are full with two daughters, two sons-in-love, and seven outstanding grandchildren.
My Rescue became My Mission
As a young, vivacious teenager, I accepted Christ as my Savior. With no discipleship, mentoring, or even a Bible Study Teacher, I started studying the Bible in my early twenties. Words leapt from the pages into my heart to compel me to search for understanding, clarity, and application. I saw and experienced Jesus as His Spirit helped me understand and live His words. I came to know our heavenly Father as my Papa-God. He isn’t distance to me or you, but up close and personal.
Learning fresh revelation from the Holy Spirit, compels me to share His Word with others. Teaching in the church, speaking at women’s events, and discipleship and ministry to women have proven to be my calling for more than four decades. And, I see no stopping.
I don’t claim to be an expert theologian or a profound communicator. Just a willing vessel who has studied in Higher Education Bible Schools and one who believes my Teacher gift to the Church is for empowering connection to the Lord, knowing Him more intimately, and engaging with Papa-God.
I am on mission to help Believers overcome losing focus, words, and consistency in an intimate connection with the Lord. I help them establish a lifestyle of loving the Lord by understanding, believing, and praying His promises—and the promises are for them today. We approach prayer as more than talking or journaling conversations with the Lord. Since our greatest benefit of prayer is attaching to a loving Father as Papa-God and remembering His Promises, our oneness with Him awakens love with Jesus to live in a life-union with Him, and activates conversations with His Spirit for living His promises of rest, joy, and peace.

Most Used Study Bible: Although more than twenty Study Bibles are stacked on my bookshelves, I rely on the English Standard Version, The Complete Jewish Bible, and the Annotated Reference Study Bible for most parts of my studies.

The most frequently asked question about CMM is, “Why are you in ministry outside a church building?” Carolyn Marlowe Ministries (CMM) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-deductible ministry, alongside the church and other ministries, empowering connection with a loving Father and His Word for Believers who are living new, walking daily, and growing deeper in Jesus.
Our GatHERings Team is reclaiming our communities for Christ as we host monthly events in a different community in Upstate, South Carolina.
We also minister to people in need of new lives: those in rescue processes from human trafficking and/or restoring from addictions. People who are living in such environments are usually reached outside the walls of the church.
We are commissioned by Jesus in Acts 1 to take the gospel to Jerusalem and Judea: our friends and family, Samaria: acquaintances and enemies, and the ends of the earth: strangers and ungodly people. Every person needs to hear and experience the opportunity to walk with Jesus and know the power of His resurrection Life. Let’s believe God’s promises are for us today, and carry this mission to Light up the four corners of our world with the “Good News” message of the gospel.
