Lot and his daughters escaped to Zoar (little place). “But God listened to Abraham’s request and kept Lot safe, removing him from the disaster….” Lot’s daughters birth his babies: Moab (become the Moabites) and Ben-ammi (become the Ammonites).
Today’s Nourishment: Lord, I thank you that as you appeared to Abraham, I pray that I will recognize your presence and your word to me. I pray that I will listen as you guide me through areas to keep me from destruction.
Thank you that hear my requests, just as you did Abraham’s. My request continues: healing for Kent, two other precious people in my life, and a safe delivery for our daughter’s baby girl. Remove them from any disaster. Keep my family, church, and friends safe today as we live and make decisions. I trust you, Lord, in each situation. I praise your Holy Name!
