“He is not here, He is risen.” Hallelujah! Because King Josiah restored the Passover Celebration, Jesus and His disciples celebrated the feast. Jesus revealed that He became the once for all spotless Lamb, who would offer His spotless blood to the Father for our atonement. “It is finished,” He offered His blood to bring us out, to rescue us, to redeem us, in order that we may praise Him. He fulfilled the “I will’s” from the four cups of Passover. He fulfilled the Passover Feast, and now “He is risen” on the feast on First Fruits, fulfilling the third feast in Israel’s celebration of feasts to the Lord. They offered the first fruits of their harvest to the Lord on this day following Passover. Jesus became our first fruit offering to the Lord. Praise Him! Happy Resurrection Day!
I praise my Father God and His Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ everyday. I have today lost my wonderful uncle. He was a godly man and one of the best people, and friendliest, that I have ever known. I am sorrowful, but also joy-filled because He is with God in heaven now! We did have a Happy Resurrection Day!
