Today’s Tasting: Matthew 28; Mark 16
In Matthew 28 we find the women coming to the tomb only to find it empty. An angel comes before them to comfort them.
Jesus then comes to speak with the disciples, while the elders paid the soldiers to say the disciples stole the body.
Today’s Nourishment: In today’s reading we see Jesus giving marching orders to the disciples in verse 19 and 20:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
In this verse we see that He is with us ALWAYS, not sometimes or occasionally, ALWAYS!
Think on that for a moment, Jesus is with us always. That is a powerful reminder to the life of the believer. We are reminded that we are not alone, the battle we are fighting we are not alone, when you feel alone you are not Jesus is there. How amazing is that!
Ask God today to reveal His presence to you if you are feeling alone. Meditate on, “I am with you always,” as a reminder that He is ever present!
How do you know that He is with You Always?
