Day Twenty-nine: January 29 – Today’s Tasting: Job 35-37 – The young man declared:
- God is mighty: both in power and understanding:
- God is all-powerful
- God is greater than we can understand
- God’s voice is glorious
- God’s wonderful miracles – just stop and consider
We cannot imagine the greatness of the power of the Almighty (El-Shaddai).
The young man rebuked Job:
- He is leading you away from danger, Job, to a place free from distress
- He is setting your table with the best food
- He nourishes the people by giving them food in abundance
Today’s Nourishment: Where is this place free from distress (grief, worry, and trouble)? When He sets or spreads the table, the Lord offers platters of His peace, His love, His joy, and His power. He leads me away from danger, grief, worry, and trouble. Though we experience trouble, He nourishes us with peace in the midst. Jesus offered a place at His table: “If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends,” Revelation 3:20 NLT. Served at His Table ~ DINNER:
Drink this cup in faith; dine at His privileged table
Interest in the Lord’s Table and others joining
No division, only diversity
No selfishness, wait for others
Examine own hearts, judging self
Remember Christ completed word
DINNER at His table takes us to a place free from distress. He spreads the table to sustain our lives— physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Lord, we join your privileged table to dine with you. We become whole at your table, as we partake and share your goodness. We partake of your peace, love, joy, and power to live this day.
Describe the table He sets for you:
