My GO Story

After decades of living as a Christian, with emphasis on reading, studying, and praying God’s Word, along with hosting groups in churches and my home regularly, the Lord started stirring me to invite those people to come together and rent event centers to make relationships with communities throughout Upstate South Carolina.

Then, He gave me a dream.  

Suddenly, the Lord awakened me from a powerful dream of seeing the Lord of Hosts, God of Heaven’s Armies, to hear the words in my heart, “Take the kingdom of God by force.” Still in awe of this powerful dream, my husband and I went to church that Sunday morning to hear our pastor preach a message on “How to take God’s Kingdom.” GO (Gatherings Outreach) launched the next month, August of 2021, when the world was emerging from Covid.

The ways the Lord led us in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead still astound me….

The GO Team’s Story

My dream of seeing the God of Heaven’s Armies dressed as a knight in full armor, saying, “Take the kingdom of God with force” was realized when the GO Team fulfilled their twelve-community assignment in Spartanburg (aka Hub City) South Carolina. Then, the Lord gave them a new assignment to GO to the twelve major cities of South Carolina. My sentiments were, “How would twelve little women take South Carolina with force?” We met Evangelist Jacob Ebersole and his World Harvest Team the next Summer at a downtown Spartanburg Prayer-walk, and the rest is His-story!

A three-time vision of thousands of horses riding in sync was recognized after a Spartanburg Crusade in 2025 and during the Prayer Hubs and pre-crusade events leading up to the Greater Columbia Crusade, then at the Charleston vision casting day. A co-mission among Church Equippers (Teachers, Apostles, Pastors, Prophets, and Evangelists) and the Ecclesia, men and women, parents and students, young and old were Ready to GO and make disciples, baptizing and teaching them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit (see Matthew 28:19-20).

Now, come alongside Carolyn, Jacob, and hundreds of others to step into the co-mission, Ready to GO, and Advance the kingdom of God. We are following the Lord of Host: God of Heaven’s Armies, Jesus Christ, from Spartanburg to Columbia, Charleston to Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Georgetown, Aiken, Greenville, Clemson, and every city and student campus in between. From South Carolina to the ends of the Earth, until the whole world knows! Let’s GO!

The Lord prepared us with vision; He’s equipped us with faith in His promises. He empowered us by His Spirit to GO to our areas of influence He has assigned to us (2 Corinthians 10:13, 15-17 ESV) in Spartanburg County and the surrounding areas. Then, to the twelve major cities in South Carolina.   

GO (Gatherings.us Outreach) would mount up to breathe faith and fight this battle by illuminating Christ into our culture. We would trust the Lord to take the kingdom of God with bold love, bowed knees, and brave prayer. We pioneer the cities and bath every event in prayer. We are regaining oneness among Christians and reaching families with the gospel, and redeeming lives with salvation, deliverance, and peace in Jesus Christ. Simply, because “We Love Where We Live.”

Let’s stay close enough to feel His Breath on our faces. And GO to our Jerusalem (family and friends) to our Judea and Samaria (acquaintances and enemies) and to the ends of the earth (those who have never heard the gospel) to advance God’s kingdom for His glory and our good (see Acts 1:8 ESV).

Your GO Story

Jesus spoke to Saul, who later became Paul. I believe He’s speaking those words to us: “I have made you a light…to bring salvation to the ends of the earth” (Acts 13:47 (HCSB) 

How might you GO? How might you illuminate Christ into your culture and city-gates? For some, it’s traveling to destinations to share the Gospel or your testimony in local, statewide, and/or national areas. Some may stay in local areas building the Church and Illuminating Christ in their areas of influence. Some may GO by sending others. Wherever God has equipped you to GO, that is when and where you will live in your greatest contentment. When you GO, stay close to the Lord in your heart and mind—close enough to His face—focusing on Him—for His assignment He has planned for you.
