Today’s Tasting: Job 10-13: Have You Been Found Not Guilty?
Job’s loss was so great that even his friends assumed that he has done some great sin and is not being punished for it. However, that is not the case. Job cannot imagine why God is allowing these things to happen to him. He disregards the comments made by his friend Zophar and tells him to be silent. Job is determined to plead his case to God so that he can be found not guilty.
Today’s Nourishment: I am the Almighty. Nothing happens to you that I don’t already know about. I am omnipotent. There will be things that I allow to happen to you that have nothing to do with your sins. Sometimes I choose difficulties for you to see if you will choose to worship Me. I have chosen you to help bring someone else closer to me. I have not forgotten about you. I am not mad at you. I love you with an everlasting love. Trust Me with all your heart. Praise Me no matter what you are experiencing you. I long to hear from you. Live in My light at all times. My light will lead you everywhere you go.
Father, help me to not curse my afflictions but to welcome them so that You can use me. I need help trusting You more each day. I need You to strengthen me so that I may endure through my difficult times. You shall get the glory out of all my troubles. I want Your light to shine through me at all times. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, amen!
Have you ever gone through something and wondered “Lord, why me?” If so, you are not alone. I have done the same. God loves us so much that He sent His only Son so that we can be found not guilty. Difficult times should draw us closer to God and not keep us away from Him. Think back over your life of a situation that you went through that you didn’t understand then but you understand it now.

Wow so much truth to this. I’ve questioned many times Lord why me? I so much more understand now. He’s always teaching us and drawing us closer to Him. My trials along the way prepared me for the things of today. I’ve truly learned to trust Him when it just doesn’t make sense. He has a greater plan!
A beautiful reminder that we need to drawn closer to God during difficult times…thank you!!
I am learning to allow my situations to push me into the Lord’s arms rather than retreating from Him. I find when I run to Him, I live with His peace. Thank you for this post.
I’m learning daily that is not about me but it’s about my relationship with the Father. I am so enjoying this fellowship!
It certainly is the response God is seeking. Verbally, internally, physically (actions), mentally are things we must examine when we are experiencing trials. I know for me I try to be mindful of my heart and thoughts towards things so that I can allow for my testimony to be what God would want. Wow this was great!
So true! I’ve learned to draw closer to God and not to shun or run from Him during difficult times. Thanks so much for this reminder!
