Today’s Tasting: Ezekiel 16-17(NLT)
“Son of man, confront Jerusalem with her detestable sins” (Ezekiel 16:2)
Today’s Nourishment: Maybe not for some, but these chapters kind of stopped me in my tracks—not because they’re not so or that I don’t agree. It’s definitely the opposite. You see, it just made me realize that we live in a world where all we hear people want to talk about it how God is love and merciful and kind and good…and, yes, He is definitely all those things and much, much more. But, He is also a God of justice and He wants us to obey his commands and when we don’t, the consequences emerge. Some consequences we face right away. Yet, others we may not see for a while. Not trying to sound legalistic in any way, because I’m far from legalism and just following rules and regulations.
Jesus came to free us from the law of sin and death. Praise the Lord! Aren’t you thankful? I guess what I’m trying to say is, this just made me not want to take God’s grace and mercy for granted because we are so undeserving. But, He loves us anyway. Let’s remember not to take out God and His awesome ways for granted in anyway.
Share with us how His grace and mercy follow you.

I’m amazed at just how much He does love us and yes how undeserving we are. We do take it for granted at times and this made me really really think. His grace and mercy follow me everyday when I miss it and when my thinking isn’t quite right. Thank Yo Lord for Your precious grace and love!
Yes this made me really really think. We do take His love and grace for granted at times and we are so undeserving. His grace and mercy follow me everyday when I miss the mark and when my thinking isn’t quite right. I’m thankful that He pricks my heart and reminds me that He loves me and forgives me.
