Today’s Tasting: Jeremiah 30-31
“I have loved you with an everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3).
Today’s Nourishment: What an idea to meditate on. God loves us with an everlasting love. “Everlasting” – some synonyms: eternal, endless, never-ending, perpetual, undying, abiding, enduring, infinite, boundless, timeless, constant, continual, persistent, relentless, uninterrupted, nonstop, and incessant.
For those of us with children or grandchildren, think about those terms – persistent, relentless, nonstop, incessant and constant! I have seven children. The last four children, God gave us within three years. I understand those terms.
When I was out of strength, energy, patience, time, and control, the babies still smiled at me and loved like the energizer bunny.
How much more does our God love us?
- He’s never too tired to love us.
- We’ve never been too bad.
- He’s never had enough.
- He loves us with an Everlasting love.
Let’s stop and take some time today to thank Him for His love and the fact that it’s unearned and unstoppable!
God Your love is Amazing!
