Today’s Tasting: 2 Kings 18; 2 Chronicles 29-31; Psalms 48
In 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles we see a cleaning of the temple and a restoration of worship to the Lord from King Hezekiah. He also restored/kept the Passover with the people. King Hezekiah did this throughout the nation and God blessed him and he prospered.
As we turn to the last chapter for today, Psalms 48 we see the worship and praise back to God for all He had done. Praising the God will be their guide forever and ever.
Today’s Nourishment: “Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised!” (Psalm 48:1).
I love this verse! This week’s reading made me stop and reflect on how God moves when we allow Him to move in our lives. We saw how King Hezekiah had to restore what had been destroyed and it gave glory and honor to God. Then through his actions God blessed and prospered him.
So what is it you need to work at and restore in your life or business?
What is the Lord calling you to let go of or change?
Are you resisting His call on your life and missing out on the blessings? Are your actions causing you to miss out on prospering? Maybe today is your day to reflect on the areas God may be showing you and restore those spaces He so badly wants to change.
When we resist it only makes things harder to move on, grow and prosper. Are you ready to prosper?
Let go and let God!
