Today’s Tasting: Proverbs 10-12
Proverbs 10 -12 is a compilation of wise sayings from Solomon. Chapter 10 beings the section referred to by scholars as the “Proverbs of Solomon on Practical Morality”. In these chapter, Solomon provides teachings on wisdom and wickedness; truth and lying; the righteous and the unrighteous. We find him sharing the actions necessary to be blessed and the results of our actions should we choose the wrong path.
Today’s Nourishment: What an amazing journey through these three chapters in the Proverbs.
The book of Proverbs is a fantastic daily read for wisdom that can be applied to your daily life, including your business. You can consider it a manual for Christian behavior.
What I love about the Bible, and especially the book of Proverbs, is the clarity of what are right and wrong actions/behaviors. God has given us a way to know exactly how we should behave as a Christian. The key is believing the Bible is God’s inspired truth.
Today we see many who are trying to mix other things into being a Christian. I recently heard a dear friend openly state; “there is no right or wrong, no black or white, it is all gray matter“. This has been a subtle shift in their belief over the past few years as they surrounded themselves with what they call “universal thought.” They worship the universe and not God, yet say it is the same thing. They say their god would NEVER judge anyone, he is only loving to all.
As you read the Bible, and Proverbs, it becomes really clear there is a right and a wrong. By choosing right there are blessings and by selecting to do wrong there are consequences. We also see clearly in the Bible that God will judge everyone on Judgment Day and if you are on the fence (lukewarm) He will spew you out.
We are told in the Bible that in the end days there will be a falling away and many false prophets. That is what we are seeing today…Christians wanting to be in with the popular thought and dangling their feet on both sides of the fence.
I challenge you today, as you read through these three chapters, to take inventory on your life and ask yourself…am I lukewarm?
If you are dangling your feet on both sides of the fence I would like to encourage you to make a choice and pick a side. Be encouraged dear Christian sister, and stand on the foundation that Jesus Christ has given you to stand upon, you will be blessed!

Amen Amen this is right on Robin. I’m so thankful for a God who loves us enough to give us instruction and encouragement. His word is our life Manuel and to be in it and living it is wisdom on our part full of promise and assurance. When we choose not to listen we have no hope or peace!
