Today in Psalm 108, we see David singing praise to God for the assurance of God’s victory over their enemies.
Psalm 109, again David sings to God and pleads for judgment over false accusers. They would know it was God’s hand judging them not David.
In Psalm 110, we see David again singing to God, this time declaring the reign of the Messiah over all kings and nations.
Today’s Nourishment: These are three powerful chapters today through the Psalms. We see a good example of how to handle tough challenges in our life.
You see that David took it all to God, he did not try to resolve it on his own.
David started with praising and acknowledging God, then he asked God to judge the false accusers.
So how do you handle those that come against you?
Do you plan retaliation? Or, do you surrender it to God and allow God to do what He does best?
Today, I challenge you to consider your reactions to things around you, especially to those things you feel the need or desire to start defending yourself about. Know that many of the attacks are not personal, they are actually attacking God. Let God be your defense!
Could we let God do the judging? Could we forgive and release? This is more for you than the person that wronged you. Joy comes in the act of forgiveness!
What do you need to surrender to God today that you are hanging onto, which involves false accusers? Ask God to help you surrender it to Him, He is faithful to take care of it!
Plus you will find a deeper level of joy personally once you let God be God!

Lord, “Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds” (Psalm 108:4 ESV). Thank you, that I can depend on you and your faithfulness in all my circumstances.
“With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes” (Psalm 108:13 ESV).
Lord, I take you at your Word and know that with YOU, I shall do valiantly, today, in my day that is full with family. I will be brave because You make me brave–brave to love and live the Christ-full life.
Thanks Robin, I needed the part where you said, “do you surrender it to God and let Him do what He does best”. This is where I’m at in my life today and with His strength and the power of His might I can and will surrender it to Him. I’m going to trust the word of God which has never let me down. Like Carolyn said I will be brave in and through Christ today!
