Psalm 33 – A Psalm most scholars assume was written by David – An Exhortation to Praise God
Psalm 36 – A Psalm of David – Wickedness of Men and Lovingkindness of God
Psalm 39 – A Psalm of David – The Vanity of Life
Today’s Nourishment: “Make me know Thy ways, O Lord; Teach me Thy paths!” (Psalm 25:4).
One thing I’ve realized over the past two years is “You don’t know what you don’t know”. This is an amazing prayer to pray. “Teach me Your ways, show me Your paths.”
Imagine hiking through a forest. Up ahead is a beautiful waterfall, which God created for you to enjoy. But the path is hidden, it’s not available for just everyone to see. You would have to hear the rushing waters cascading, or someone would have to tell you it was there, for you to have the desire to see it. “God show me your ways”… I want to see that waterfall. Show me the path to it.
God I want to know your ways for I can’t even fathom them. My mind can’t even imagine the life you’ve planned for me. I don’t know how to dream Your dreams. Show me Your ways. I don’t know the miraculous plans, which You have laid out for my life, for my children’s lives. Show me Your ways…Show me the paths to get there.
Show me what I don’t know; show me where I am deceived; show me where my thinking is wrong; show me what I need to learn; show me what I need to lay down and let go of; show me what I need to pick up and embrace; show me what I need to become .

This so speaks to my heart this morning. I love to say, I don’t know what I don’t know.”, so this really hits home!
Lord show me your way; teach me your way that I should walk in it. Show me YOUR dreams for my life. Show me what you created me for to accomish, no more wasted time, wasted resources or wasted opportunity. Direct my way oh Lord. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
This post also speaks to me. I find myself praying frequently, Lord, point me in a direction to go and give me identity.”
Me too Carolyn I desire so much to know His ways for me. I want to be led by Him. His ways are always best and there is fulfillment in walking in Him, thank You Lord for going before me guiding me on the right path!
