You don’t have to live a life that seems worthless. Have you ever thought, Why am I here? Why am I alive? Or, what is my reason for living?
God seems to say, “Everything starts with me. I am the first, the center, and the last. Get life right by realizing that I created you for fellowship with me. Because you live on the other side of the cross, you have experienced the bruise of my Son’s heel—the revelation of my redemption. You know that I have wounded the enemy’s head, for he comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come for you to live abundantly. Live in the Light of my Presence and know that I’ll never, ever leave you! I am with you. I breathe life into you.”
He hovered (brood, relax, flutter):
The Holy Spirit broods over you to create fellowship with our Heavenly Father. He is life, so, live in the Light of His presence by worshiping Him. You may ask Jesus to be life to you and through you and in the circumstances of your day. Ask His Spirit to show you how to enter the fellowship that He designed for you from the start.
“Spirit of God, hover over the lives of my family this year, over my life, over my church’s life, over our businesses, and over the ministry to others this year. Brood and protect us, relax and rest within me, flutter and move things to happen by the power of your Spirit. Father, breathe your life around me, my family, and in the situations, which we will face this New Year. Brood over our friends that we may experience fellowship.”
Lord, I trust you today in this new start to a New Year. I live in the Light of your Presence and believe that you brood over me to do and receive life in fullness from fellowship with You and others. I choose to walk in a moment-by-moment awareness that You, Lord, are with me.”
Today’s Tasting: Genesis 1-3: God (Trinity) created…the Spirit of God brooded (hover, relax, flutter) over…God spoke, God saw, God named, God made, God created, God blessed.
Light! Light separated from darkness. God looked, God finished, God rested, God blessed. God formed Man…God blew the breath of life into the Man who came alive—a living soul…God planted, God took the Man to the garden…God commanded, God said…God formed, God put…God took…God made Woman.
The serpent’s accusations and lies of what God said crept into the minds of Adam and Eve…sin entered. They sewed fig leaves—God made leather clothes and dressed them.
To the serpent, God said, “He’ll wound your head, you’ll wound His heel.”
These events occurred for God to reveal His redemption for humans.
