Day Forty-one: February 10 – Today’s Tasting ~ Exodus 29-31: Altar, “a place to meet with God; a place of sacrifice.” The priests of Israel built altars according to the Lord’s plan.
- The sacrifice of altars made it possible to enter the presence of God
- The sacrifice of the altars purified lives
- The sacrifice of the altars covered sin
The sacrifice always received examination for perfection
The person offering the sacrifice never received examination
Today’s Nourishment: Thank you Lord, you became our perfect and final sacrifice. At your altar (the cross) we are purified. At your altar, our sin is cleansed, not covered any longer, but washed away as far as the east is from the west. Thank you for your complete work of the cross – your life, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the grave lives in me. Praise you, Lord.
Write your praise for His altar?
